-She is joining the directing team for JELLY’S LAST JAM dir. by Robert O’Hara and written by George C. Wolfe as a fellow at New York City Center Encores!. The production stars its original Hunnies, Nicholas Christopher as Jelly Roll Morton, and Billy Porter as Chimney Man.
-Five Faces (Oil on Canvas) by Rose Gonzales is being presented as a staged reading with Fishwife Productions in February. Isabel is directing.
-Isabel is the New York City Center Encores! Directing Fellow for the 2024 season. She is currently on the directing team for ONCE UPON A MATTRESS dir. by Lear deBessonet. -A 29 Hour Reading of PERFORMING FILIPINA, a new musical by Lianah Sta. Ana, presented in November at Houghton Hall. Isabel as director, Patrick B. Phillips as music director, produced by Cindy Tsai. Cast announcement here.
- Isabel is the assistant director of the world premiere of “SUMO” by Lisa Sanaye Dring, dir. Ralph B. Peña at The La Jolla Playhouse this fall.
Isabel is directing San Diego Musical Theatre Academy’s Summer Camp production of Spongebob Squarepants. Music directed by Ian Black, and choreographed by Kevin Blax Burroughs.
- Isabel is directing a new play reading for Jay Mazyck’s recent work for their New Works Lab Fellowship at The Fire This Time Festival.
- Isabel is the assistant director of the world premiere of Sharon by Keiko Green, directed by Robby Lutfy at Cygnet Theatre.
-In March, Isabel will be working on the world premiere of Exotic Deadly, or the MSG Play by Keiko Green at The Old Globe. The show is directed by Jesca Prudencio and stage managed by Chandra R.M. Anthenill.
- Isabel was the ASM swing on Cygnet Theatre’s “El Huracan”
-Isabel worked on Powers’ New Voices Play Festival at The Old Globe as production assistant for Eliana Pipe’s “Unf*ckwithable”.

2022

- Isabel has joined The Old Globe’s Henry V Globe for All Tour in Fall 2022. The production tours Southern California in November.
- Working on musical in-development supported by Leviathan Lab
- Isabel and Thelma de Castro are hosting this month’s Play Space for AAPI artists at Diversionary Theatre.
-Isabel is directing "Someone Like Me" by Richard Gustin for Empty Room Radio's next season in September.
- Isabel directed “Bruised.” by Jay Mazyck for The Fire This Time Festival/FrigidNYC. The reading took place at The Kraine on September 11th.
- This August, Isabel completed her fellowship projects at Williamstown Theatre Festival. Her projects included concept and movement workshops of “Candida” by George Bernard Shaw, “LASTHUNTER” by Alex Lin, and Lizzie: the Musical by Alan Stevens Hewitt, Steven Cheslik-DeMeyer, and Tim Maner.
- As part of WTF’s Readings@3 series, Isabel stage managed “Abortion Road Trip” by Rachel Lynett, directed by Jess McLeod.
- Isabel directed “GIRLBOSS” by Jay Mazyck as part of the 24 Hour Plays Festival at Theater Row in July.

- Isabel is the 2022 J Michael Friedman Fellow at Williamstown Theatre Festival.
- Isabel has opened “Lempicka” at The La Jolla Playhouse” as their Assistant Company Manager. The show is running through July and is written by Carson Kreitzer, directed by Rachel Chavkin, choreographed by Raja Feather Kelly, with music by Matt Gould.
- In April, Isabel directed a reading of LASTHUNTER by Alex Lin at OpenJar Studios with Williamstown Theatre Festival.
- For La Jolla Playhouse’s 2022 Gala, Isabel served as ACM; guest artists included Daphne Rubin-Vega and James Monroe Iglehart.
- Isabel has opened “Bhangin’ It": A New Musical” at The La Jolla Playhouse as their Assistant Company Manager. The show is written by Mike and Rehana Lew Mirza, directed by Stafford Arima, with music by Deep Singh and Sam Willmott. The show runs through April.
- Isabel has joined the BIPOC Critics Lab, a 10-week program starting in January. This lab is supported by The Kennedy Center and led by Jose Solis.

- Isabel has opened “to the yellow house” by Kimber Lee at the La Jolla Playhouse as their Assistant Company Manager. The show is directed by Neel Keller.
- Isabel recently joined La Jolla Playhouse’s production of “The Garden” as Assistant Company Manager.
- Isabel assistant directed and co-devised “ALIEN/NATION” with director Michael Arden, writers Eric Berryman and Jen Silverman, and Nikki James and Andy Mientus as associates. The production is running at the Williamstown Theatre Festival and is in partnership with the Forest of Arden.
- Isabel is the 2021 Bill Foeller Fellow at Williamstown Theatre Festival. She will be assistant directing “ALIEN/NATION” and directing a reading in NYC following the summer.
- Isabel served as PA for The Larking House’s filming of “Carmelita Park” by Jack Sabido. Caity Petterson is directing.
- “Radial Gradient” is nominated for Stellar Lead (Drama), Direction, and Technical Achievement, and Producing. The production won in Technical Achievement.
- “Radial Gradient” by Jasmine Sharma is running as part of the Twenty by Twenty Fringe Festival at Lime Arts Production. Isabel directed this live-streamed virtual play for its April run.
- This March, Isabel will be directing “Party Clown” by Olivia Carter for The Larking House’s 2021 Playwrights Intensive.

2020

- Isabel assistant directed a workshop of “Christina” by Alexis Scheer with Danya Taymor (director) at The Kennedy Center.
- Isabel co-hosted a salon of “A Critical Ecosystem” with Jose Solis at The Kennedy Center this fall.
- For The Larking House’s Playwright’s Intensive, Isabel directed Dust to Dust by Matt Katterhagen in November.
- Isabel attended the Kennedy Center’s Directing Intensive this past summer.
- Isabel graduated from Cal State Fullerton with a BA in Theatre Arts and an emphasis in Stage Directing in May. The Head of Directing at CSUF is Mark Ramont.
- Isabel has been awarded as the SDC National Student Directing Finalist in the Kennedy Center’s American College Theatre Festival under their SDC Directing Initiative. She presented “Phoebe in Winter” by Jen Silverman for the honor.
